Scientifically Proven 99.9% Efficacy Disinfectant/Antibacterial Liquid
Epic Solutions 70% Isopropanol / Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol IPA is perfect for disinfecting and sanitising surfaces including a wound. With 30% Distilled Water, this 70% Isopropanol solution is able to penetrate the cell walls and last long enough on the surface to kill all the bacteria and viruses (evaporates slower than pure alcohol), and this property makes it one of the strongest and most widely used disinfectant around the world- even in the medical scene! It is one of the most powerful antibacterial liquid man has ever known- 70% Isopropanol is on Environmental Protection Agency’s “List of Antimicrobial Products Effective Against Mycobacterium Tuberculosis, Human HIV-1 and Hepatitis B Virus”.
Powerful Surface Cleanser
Even in 70% concentration, it is still a quick-evaporating liquid and is therefore a perfect surface cleanser in most situations as it does not leave any residues behind. Also still acts as a good degreaser and grime-remover for more sensitive surfaces that are not suitable for pure 99.9% Isopropyl Alcohol.
Wide Applications in Industry & at Home
70% Isopropanol is perfect for cleaning make up tools, gardening tools, mobile phone screen, computer screen, TV screen, windows, mirrors, and even medical equipment. This liquid can even be used to remove frost on car windows in winter.
How to use Isopropyl cleaner
- Before using the IPA cleaner (rubbing alcohol) test the material or surface to be cleaned to ensure it is a suitable product and will not damage
- Clean the surface by wiping it down to remove dust
- Dampen a cloth or cotton bud with the cleaning fluid, or spray using a spray bottle
- Clean the surface taking care not to leave any pools of solution
- The surface to be cleaned can also be immersed gently then the solution is allowed to evaporate
As a solvent Isopropyl Alcohol can damaged certain finishes and/or coatings of a surface. Avoid using any rubbing alcohol on painted, shellacked, lacquered, or varnished surfaces, including treated wood.
Same for fabric, it is best to avoid using isopropyl alcohol to clean or sanitise delicate or synthetic materials like acetate, rayon, wool, and silk.
