Nitrile Gloves Bulk Buy UK: Minimum Orders, Pricing and What to Know

Eric H |

If you go through gloves regularly, buying in bulk is one of the simplest ways to cut costs without changing anything about how you operate. Here's what you need to know about bulk buying nitrile gloves in the UK.

Is there a minimum order?

No minimum order at Epic Solutions. You can order a single box if that's what you need. Bulk pricing starts at case level (10 boxes) and improves further at pallet quantities (100+ boxes). Free delivery applies automatically on all orders over £80.

What counts as a bulk order?

In the disposable gloves market, boxes of 100 gloves are the standard unit. Bulk buying typically starts at case quantities - usually 10 boxes (1,000 gloves) - where per-box pricing drops meaningfully compared to buying individual boxes.

At Epic Solutions, bulk pricing kicks in at case level and improves further at pallet quantities. Most of our business customers order between 20 and 200 boxes per month depending on team size and usage.

Typical pricing tiers

As a rough guide for blue or black nitrile gloves (3.5-4 mil, standard grade):

  • Single box (100 gloves): from £5 per box
  • Case (10 boxes): reduced per-box price
  • Pallet (100+ boxes): best per-box price - call us for a quote

Exact pricing depends on grade, thickness and colour. For current pricing, visit the relevant collection page or call us on +44 7707 316118.

Free delivery threshold

Epic Solutions offers free UK delivery on all orders over £80. For most customers ordering at case level or above, every order qualifies automatically. For full pallets or multiple cases per week, email cs@epic-solutions.co.uk or call +44 7707 316118 for trade pricing.

What's the difference between essential grade and heavy duty?

Essential grade (3.5-4 mil) is appropriate for food handling, cleaning, light assembly, healthcare admin and any task where dexterity and sensitivity matter more than strength.

Heavy duty (6-8 mil) is appropriate for mechanical work, chemical handling, automotive, janitorial and any task involving sharp edges, solvents or extended wear time.

Buying the wrong grade is expensive - essential grade gloves used in a workshop will tear constantly, meaning your team goes through far more boxes than necessary. If you're unsure which grade is right for your work, call us and we'll advise based on your specific tasks.

Setting up a standing order

For businesses that use gloves consistently, a standing order removes the hassle of remembering to reorder and protects you from running out mid-shift.

Epic Solutions offers a subscription service with 15% off standard pricing. You choose the frequency - weekly, fortnightly or monthly - and the right quantity arrives automatically. No minimum commitment and you can pause or cancel at any time.

Can I get a sample before committing to a bulk order?

Yes. If you're switching supplier or trying a new grade, contact us and we'll arrange a sample pack. Getting the spec right before committing to a case or pallet order saves everyone time.

Price match promise

If you find the same glove specification cheaper elsewhere, we'll match it. Our price match covers like-for-like products - same mil thickness, same grade, same quantity.
